Chandigarh University in Uttar Pradesh has taken a significant step towards women empowerment by launching one of its largest events, SynHERgy: AI-Driven Innovation for Women Empowerment. Keynote speaker, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, unveiled the pioneering NARI Scheme focusing on women in technology.
The NARI Scheme aims to empower women across Uttar Pradesh in startups, research, healthcare, and academics. The initiative is designed to train 1,500 women in tech skills, support 150 women-led startups, and conduct health screenings for 2,000 women over three years.
Complementing these efforts, CU UP has developed a high-tech, safety-centered residential facility for female students. This forefront establishment reinforces the university's commitment to women's education, offering advanced security and AI-driven learning environments.
