The action came after a video of Anant Ramcharan Varma, a teacher at the ZP primary school in Shekapur, went viral on December 5, prompting the education department to initiate an inquiry.
The Block Education Officer's report concluded Varma was under the influence, leading to his suspension by Nanded ZP's Chief Executive Officer Meghna Kawli for violating disciplinary rules and the 1967 Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Conduct) Rules.
