The Delhi government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, has reiterated its commitment to equipping the city's youth with essential skills. Delivering a speech at the 'Samarth Bharat-Vichar Goshti' program organized by Bhaorao Deoras Seva Nyas at NDMC Convention Centre, Gupta highlighted skilling the younger generation as a cornerstone for India's strength.
Gupta underscored the vision of 'Viksit Bharat', emphasizing that every citizen shares a responsibility towards this vision. She highlighted India's vast population of 140 crore as the country's greatest strength, noting that connecting this demographic with skills and opportunities could naturally resolve many national challenges.
The Delhi government is proactively launching initiatives to link youth with skill development opportunities. As part of these efforts, special centers are being developed for juveniles involved in offenses, where skill training will be mandatory, further illustrating the administration's focus on creating a skilled workforce.
