This announcement follows the district's first comprehensive literacy survey, conducted by the CADC's Adult Education department between October 2025 and January 2026, which encompassed all 88 village councils in the area.
The survey's data collection was supported by local school headmasters and non-governmental organizations, further assisted by literacy awareness campaigns aimed at emphasizing education's importance and lifelong learning.
