Ladakh's Lieutenant Governor, Kavinder Gupta, has reiterated the administration's unwavering commitment to student welfare, highlighting the crucial impact of educated youth on the region's future development. Delivering a speech at the 27th annual day of the Jammu chapter of All Ladakh Students Welfare Association, Gupta urged students to remain connected to their language, culture, and roots while fostering unity.
Speaking to an audience of young people from Leh and Kargil districts, the Lt Governor stated that the association is more than just an organization but a testament to the ambition and discipline of Ladakh's youth. He encouraged students to explore beyond traditional career paths, advocating for the creation of jobs and the pursuit of self-employment and skill-based opportunities.
Underlining the transformative phase of student life, Gupta emphasized its role in nation-building, shaping character, and instilling discipline. As India embraces technology and AI, he noted, innovation continues to expand opportunities. He called on the youth to continue learning and adapting, reminding them that their creativity, leadership, and empathy remain irreplaceable.
