In a significant development for the healthcare sector, Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh has inaugurated the Centre of Excellence in Smart Healthcare at its campus in Unnao. The center aims to bolster the UP-state vision of AI in healthcare by promoting research and innovation.
With the launch of an AI Ethics Training Program, the university is committed to training 150,000 youth over the next five years in responsible AI usage. This new initiative is part of a broader plan to transform healthcare through AI-driven solutions including medical imaging, predictive analytics, and diagnostics.
The inauguration event, attended by key figures such as Aseem Arun, Minister of State for Social Welfare, highlighted the university's dedication to marrying technology with high-impact education.
