During a recent session dubbed 'Coffee with Vice-Chancellor' at Hansraj College, Delhi University Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh highlighted the transformative power of education in shaping a developed India by 2047. He underscored innovation, research, and entrepreneurship as key drivers for achieving this vision.
Singh addressed various student queries, emphasizing the need for educational reforms in line with the National Education Policy 2020. He stressed the importance of student-centric learning and the role of technology and research in modern education. He also discussed the potential benefits of the proposed fourth year in undergraduate programs.
The vice-chancellor also drew attention to Delhi University's inaugural Literary Festival, which seeks to unite the academic community. Singh offered students guidance on the judicious use of AI tools, advocating for personal skill development in reading, writing, and speaking.
