NEET-UG Leak Scandal Sparks Demand for Accountability

The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has called for a time-bound investigation into the alleged leak of the NEET-UG exam paper, demanding accountability. They condemned the incident for shattering trust and exposing gaps in the exam system, advocating for merit, transparency, and fairness in medical education.

The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) on Tuesday urged a prompt investigation and strict accountability regarding the alleged NEET-UG exam paper leak, which led to the exam's cancellation. FAIMA emphasized that the breach has devastated the trust of numerous aspirants who invested years preparing for the test.

According to Dr. Jaideep Kumar Choudhary, FAIMA's national chairperson, the recurring issues highlight significant flaws within the examination system. FAIMA condemned any actions undermining merit, transparency, and fairness in medical education and insisted on an immediate probe.

With the NEET-UG 2026 exam for over 23 lakh candidates canceled, the National Testing Agency announced rescheduling. FAIMA vowed to support affected students and families, advocating their cause until justice is served, as the government tasked the CBI for a thorough investigation.
