NEET-UG Protest Sparks Controversy

SFI activists staged a protest at the Principal Accountant General's office against alleged paper leaks in the NEET-UG exam. After a scuffle with police, who used water cannons to disperse them, the activists staged another protest at the police station. NEET-UG 2026 was canceled by NTA pending a re-examination.

Activists from the Students' Federation of India (SFI) took a bold stand on Tuesday as they stormed the office of the Principal Accountant General, voicing their discontent over the alleged paper leak in the NEET-UG examination.

Despite initial attempts by the police to prevent their entry, the determined activists leaped over barricades, resulting in a confrontation that escalated when officers employed water cannons to disperse the crowd. Numerous activists were forcibly removed from the premises.

The protest follows growing allegations of a paper leak in the NEET-UG 2026 exam, prompting investigations by the Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) and the CBI. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has since canceled the exam, with plans for a rescheduled test to be announced, ensuring transparency and maintaining public trust.
