Karnataka Ministers Criticize NEET Cancellations Amid Calls for State-Level Exams

Karnataka ministers criticized the Central Government for NEET cancellations due to question paper leaks, calling it a recurring problem. The Karnataka government has vehemently criticized the recent cancellations of the NEET examination by the Central Government, marking the second such incident due to question paper leaks. State ministers have expressed their frustration, accusing the Centre of severe mismanagement, which they claim is directly impacting students' futures.

School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa openly called out the inefficacy of the administration in handling the situation, while Higher Education Minister M C Sudhakar suggested state-level exams as a solution to the opposition surrounding NEET. He emphasized the unnecessary confusion and uncertainty caused among students due to these recurring issues.

Despite criticism, the Central Minister H D Kumaraswamy defended the government's decision, justifying it as a necessary step to protect examination integrity. He pointed out similar administrative failures at the state level to counter criticism from Karnataka ministers.
