A major scandal has erupted following the alleged leak of the NEET-UG 2026 examination paper from a Nashik-based printing press. Sources have revealed that the paper was reportedly delivered to a doctor in Gurugram. The incident has now become the focus of an intensive probe by law enforcement agencies.
Despite reports circulating about the involvement of a local medical practitioner, the Indian Medical Association's Gurugram president, Dr. Rajesh Kataria, stated that no investigating authority has made contact with them. The unfolding situation led to the cancellation of the May 3 exam and sparked outrage among medical students nationwide.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated a comprehensive inquiry into the matter, registering a case under various criminal charges. Concurrently, the Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group has been actively examining a ‘guess paper’ linked to the leak, with arrests already made in Nashik.
