NSUI activists protested outside the National Testing Agency's office, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and dissolution of NTA over the NEET paper leak controversy.

National Students' Union of India (NSUI) activists on Wednesday protested outside the National Testing Agency's Okhla office, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the dissolution of NTA over the ongoing NEET paper leak controversy.

The activists held a 'Symbolic Shraddhanjali Sabha and Mundan Protest', calling the symbolic head-shaving a symbol of ''pain, anger and frustration''.

NSUI national president Vinod Jakhar said the government's ''corruption and incompetence'' in the examination system had destroyed the future of millions of students.

The student organisation has issued four key demands including a fair and transparent investigation into the NEET paper leak, the immediate resignation of minister Pradhan, dissolution of the NTA and accountability for repeated examination failures affecting students nationwide.

Jakhar also cited broad failures under the BJP government, including controversies surrounding CBSE's OSM system and three-language policy, saying the Ministry of Education ''consistently failed students''. He claimed that the NTA had ''lost all credibility''.

The NSUI leader said that the organisation will continue its nationwide agitation until justice is delivered to students and accountability is fixed.
