Rick and Morty Season 4 to see more deaths, Mr. Poopybutthole as Santa Claus during Christmas?

Justin Roiland-created ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 is always a highly-anticipated show since Season 3 went to hiatus after airing its tenth episode ‘The Rickchurian Mortydate’ on October 1. Since its announcement in May this year, plenty of rumors popped up encircling the production, release period and storyline. However, now it is totally clear that the series premiere is absolutely unlikely this year.

The hiatus before Season 4’s premiere was already said to be longer. The series writer Ryan Ridley said the Detroit Cast earlier 2018 that the team was yet to commence working on Season 4. He also said that “he would be astonished if there was the season ready on the air anytime sooner than 2019.”

As far as the plot for ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 is concerned, it is likely to feature the return of Evil Morty and Citadel as Douglas Einar Olsen teased this storyline via Twitter. His tweet was aired just a day before US state elections (on November 6), which can be guessed that he was insisting the viewers to vote for the returning of Evil Morty. The sci-fi lovers are happy to be ensured that the upcoming season will pick up from Season 3 cliffhanger where the Evil Morty rules the Citadel. If that’s so, there is no doubt that the production team is already working on the show since the last couple of months.

On the other hand, a study accomplished by Buzz Bingo revealed that ‘Rick and Morty’ is the ‘deadliest show’ on the television with an average of 26.1 deaths per episode. The figure is quite higher than other popular television series ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Westworld’. So, plenty of deaths can be expected in Season 4 of the series.

Although ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 does not have a specific premiere date, may be the viewers can have a Christmas Special showing Mr. Poopybutthole clad in Santa Claus’ attire. And may be the show can have its premiere almost four months later like it did for the last season.
