TMC Clears Path with Decisive Win in Bengal Lok Sabha Seats

The TMC celebrated leading in 31 out of 42 Lok Sabha seats in Bengal, crediting the win to people's faith in Mamata Banerjee's pro-people policies and a strong mandate against the BJP. TMC supporters jubilantly danced, smeared green gulal, and chanted slogans across the state.

On Tuesday, the TMC hailed emerging trends indicating the party's lead in 30 of Bengal's 42 Lok Sabha seats, affirming people's faith in Mamata Banerjee's pro-people policies and a decisive mandate against the BJP. At 12:30 PM, the TMC led in 31 seats, BJP in 10, and Congress in one, as per the Election Commission.

"The results reflect people's faith in the TMC's pro-people policies and a decisive mandate against anti-Bengal forces," TMC spokesperson Santanu Sen told PTI. In 2019, TMC had 22 seats, BJP 18, and Congress 2 seats.

Ecstatic TMC supporters celebrated across West Bengal with dances, green gulal, and slogans like 'Joy Bangla'. The strong showing counters disappointing results for the BJP in its strongholds of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan, indicating a moral and political defeat for the saffron camp.
