Kannada Film Star Darshan Thoogudeepa Taken Into Custody in Shocking Murder Case

Leading Kannada film actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of Renuka Swamy in Bengaluru. The police are investigating his possible involvement. In a shocking development, leading Kannada film actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been taken into custody by the Bengaluru Police in connection with a murder case, Commissioner B Dayananda announced on Tuesday.

According to the Commissioner, Darshan and several associates are currently under detention and are undergoing interrogation by the authorities. The 47-year-old actor was apprehended in relation to the murder of Renuka Swamy, whose body was discovered in Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru, on June 9.

Swamy, who worked for a pharmacy company and hailed from Chitradurga, was identified through CCTV footage and technical evidence. The investigation into Darshan's involvement continues as the police examine whether he played a direct role in the murder or was part of a broader conspiracy.
