Ray Carsillo reveals Nicholas Cage’s Superman suit from ‘Superman Lives’ on Instagram

'Superman Lives' was set to star Nicholas Cage as the Man of Steel. The film 'Superman IV: The Quest For Peace' (entitled 'Superman Lives') never into completion and fans continue to speculate who could happen.

In 1996, Kevin Smith pitched 'Superman Lives' screenplay to Jon Peter and the film was supposed to go into production. Tim Burton was hired to direct the movie. He had already directed two Batman movies. And Nicholas Cage, a huge Superman fan', was hired to play the last Son of Krypton. But about a year later, the film unfortunately was put on indefinite hold. Small pieces of updates sometimes used to appear online throughout the years but no such development was observed.

However, recently DC Daily has presented a new look of Nicholas Cage's costume which is said to have never been displayed earlier publicly. This is the first the it (the costume) has been revealed from the Warner archives. Later, Ray Carsillo clicked a close-up photo with the suit and posted on Instagram.

Now Warner Bros has an idea of making an animated movie on Kevin Smith's 'Superman Lives' script with 54-year old 'Red Rock West' actor Cage voicing the hero. We will now have to wait for further progress announcement.
