Tragic House Collapse in Madhya Pradesh: Two Children Killed

Two children were killed and five others injured after a house collapsed due to incessant rains in Narsinghpur district, Madhya Pradesh. The incident happened in Rampura village. The family was asleep when their kutcha house collapsed. Financial assistance and housing help are being provided to the affected family.

Two children lost their lives and five others sustained injuries when their house collapsed due to heavy rains in a village in Madhya Pradesh's Narsinghpur district, according to an official statement released on Saturday.

Rakesh Bohre, the civil surgeon at Gadarwara Community Health Centre, informed that the tragic incident unfolded in Rampura village, Gadarwara tehsil, during the night between Friday and Saturday. The victims were asleep when their kutcha house gave way.

Among the deceased were a three-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. Villagers managed to rescue five family members from the rubble. House owner Pawan Namdeo confirmed that his entire family was asleep at the time. Local MLA Rao Uday Pratap Singh announced immediate financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh and provisions under PM Awas Yojana for the affected family.
