Fans of the legendary singer Kishore Kumar gathered in his hometown of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday to pay glowing tributes on his birth anniversary.

Hundreds of admirers, including Madhya Pradesh cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, who serenaded the crowd with 'Hame Tumse Pyar Kitna' from the film 'Kudrat,' came together at the singer's 'samadhi sthal' (memorial).

The Kishore Prerna Manch members visited the memorial in the morning, celebrating by cutting a birthday cake and offering Kishore Kumar's favorite snacks, milk and jalebi. Manch president Ranbir Chawla confirmed the traditional offerings.

Rajiv Koshore, an ardent fan who traveled from Goa, said he has worshipped Kishore Kumar and has been singing his songs since he was eight years old. 'This is my third visit to pay obeisance to the soil where Kishore Kumar was born. I feel Kishore Da's presence here,' he said.

Mumbai resident Madhav Fadke, along with his family and friends, mentioned their desire to experience the vibes of Kishore Da's house. 'The house of such a big personality should have been better. He lives in our hearts, and we will keep visiting this place,' he added.
