A tragic event unfolded in North Delhi's Khyber Pass area on Sunday when a tree branch fell on a cyclist, resulting in his death, authorities disclosed.
Identified as Anees, the victim was promptly transported to a nearby medical facility where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
A senior police officer revealed that the incident occurred around 9:30 PM, as investigations pointed out that strong winds caused the branch to break off, fatally striking Anees. Inquest proceedings are ongoing as stated by the police.
