Sequel to Action Comedy 'Wolfs' in the Works with Clooney and Pitt
A sequel to the action comedy 'Wolfs', starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, is being developed. The original film’s director, Jon Watts, has a deal with Apple. 'Wolfs' premieres at the Venice International Film Festival and releases theatrically in the US on September 20, followed by an Apple TV+ debut.
Hollywood superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt are set to entertain audiences once again, as a sequel to their upcoming action comedy 'Wolfs' is in development.
This announcement comes before the film's out-of-competition premiere at the Venice International Film Festival and its limited theatrical release in the US on September 20. The movie will stream on Apple TV+ starting from September 27.
Marking their reunion since 2008's 'Burn After Reading', 'Wolfs' sees Clooney and Pitt playing fixers who inadvertently end up working the same job. While the sequel's deal is confirmed for writer-director Jon Watts, it remains unclear if Clooney and Pitt will reprise their roles.
The film is a collaboration between Clooney's production company Smokehouse and Pitt's Plan B, and features talents like Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind, and Zlatko Buric. The production team includes Clooney, Grant Heslov, Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Michael Beugg as the executive producer. Clooney and Pitt previously starred together in Steven Soderbergh's 'Ocean's' series.
