Tragic Drowning: Two Brothers Die During Nag Panchami Celebrations

Two young brothers, Anshik and Ansh Yadav, drowned in a pond during Nag Panchami celebrations in Banke village, Uttar Pradesh. Tragedy struck during Nag Panchami celebrations in Banke village, Uttar Pradesh, as two minor brothers, Anshik and Ansh Yadav, drowned in a pond, police reported.

Anshik Yadav, 12, jumped in to rescue his younger brother, Ansh, 8, who had fallen into the water while playing near the pond. However, neither of the boys knew how to swim, leading to their untimely demise.

Onlookers' immediate rescue efforts were in vain, and the boys were declared dead upon arrival at Kadipur's community health center. Local officials have assured full support to the bereaved family, and the police have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
