Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav has assured Uttarakhand BJP MP Anil Baluni of swift action regarding the environmental approval for over 200 road projects in the Garhwal constituency. These projects have faced long delays due to objections from the forest department.

Baluni, who took up the issue during the recent Lok Sabha elections, emphasized the critical need for these roads, noting that the constituency spans five districts with challenging terrains where good roads are essential for connectivity.

He pointed out that the lack of proper transportation infrastructure is contributing to a migration crisis in the area, underscoring the urgency for the projects' approval and completion.
