Himachal Pradesh Boosts Tourism with Rs 696.47 Crore Projects
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced 11 projects worth Rs 696.47 crore to enhance tourism in Himachal Pradesh. These projects aim to improve the tourism experience and infrastructure, supporting the livelihoods of many families. Efforts include a convention centre, beautification, and wellness centers.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced 11 ambitious projects totaling Rs 696.47 crore designed to boost the tourism sector in Himachal Pradesh.
Chairing a crucial meeting of the tourism department, he revealed that tenders for all projects have been invited. The initiative aims to increase tourist influx and bolster the local economy, according to an official statement.
'Enhancing tourism experiences and creating new infrastructure is vital for our economy and supports thousands of families,' Sukhu emphasized. The projects include a convention centre, beautification initiatives, a wellness center, and an ice skating rink. The state has also declared Kangra district as its tourism capital, with plans to make Pong Dam a birders' paradise and national water sports center.
