Zeeshan Ali announced on Wednesday his resignation as India's Davis Cup coach, choosing to dedicate his efforts towards the National Tennis Centre's development.

Zeeshan, who replaced Nandan Bal in 2013 amidst player revolt demands, cited a desire to end his coaching tenure on a positive note.

Despite not always receiving payment, he stressed his commitment to India's tennis legacy. Anil Dhupar of AITA confirmed Zeeshan's compensation through his role as NTC Director.
