Addressing the nation on the 78th Independence Day, Modi pointed out that suggestions ranged from making India a 'skill capital' of the world to substantial judicial reforms.

According to Modi, the campaign dubbed 'Viksit Bharat 2047' embodies the aspirations and determination of 140 crore citizens. He noted that numerous citizens proposed varied measures, including making India a global manufacturing hub and an educational leader with world-class universities.

Some citizens also advocated for establishing a space station, enhancing traditional Indian medicine, and building India's status as a wellness hub. Additionally, suggestions were made to strengthen grassroots administration, support small farmers, and expedite efforts to make India the world's third-largest economy. Modi emphasized the people's trust in the government, grounded in past successful initiatives like rural electrification, as a crucial factor in achieving these ambitious goals.
