Protests Erupt in Delhi Against Minorities' Atrocities in Bangladesh

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj and JNU VC Santishree D Pandit joined a march in Delhi, protesting against alleged violence targeting minorities in Bangladesh. Organized by RSS-linked Nari Shakti Forum, the demonstration began at Mandi House and ended at Jantar Mantar, drawing hundreds of participants. The marchers, demanding an end to the violence, carried religious flags and placards, some donning black bands as a sign of protest.

Participants carried religious flags and placards, with many wearing black bands on their arms and covering their mouths in silent protest. The demonstration highlighted rising violence against minorities, particularly Hindus and Buddhists, in Bangladesh following the resignation of Sheikh Hasina.

Traffic in central Delhi was significantly disrupted due to the march, affecting areas including Janpath Road, Connaught Place, and Kasturba Gandhi Marg. Authorities struggled to manage the heavy traffic flow along main routes.
