Chhari Mubarak: The Sacred Journey to Amarnath

On Monday, the Chhari Mubarak, the holy mace of Lord Shiva, will be transported to the Amarnath holy cave shrine for traditional prayers and rituals. After an overnight stay at Sheshnag camp, it proceeded to Panchtarani camp on Sunday morning, accompanied by Sadhus and led by custodian Mahant Deependra Giri.

Chhari Mubarak, the saffron-robed holy mace of Lord Shiva, is set to be carried to the Amarnath holy cave shrine on Monday for traditional prayers and rituals.

After a night's halt, the Chhari Mubarak departed from Sheshnag camp on Sunday morning, heading towards the Panchtarani camp on the occasion of 'Shravan Shukla Paksh Chaturdashi,' according to Mahant Deependra Giri, custodian of the holy mace.

The holy mace crossed Mahaguns Top, the highest peak en route at 14,800 feet, accompanied by a group of devoted Sadhus. The Chhari Mubarak reached the Panchtarani camp in the afternoon, and it will be carried to the Holy Cave on Monday morning for traditional puja and rituals amid the chanting of Vedic hymns. This event will mark the ritual culmination of the annual Amarnath Yatra.
