Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh shared insights into her love for photography on World Photography Day, revealing another aspect of her creative expression. Known for her role in 'Dangal,' she expressed how capturing moments through her camera brings a new perspective to her life.

Bollywood actor Fatima Sana Shaikh, widely recognized for her role in 'Dangal,' has shared her deep passion for photography on World Photography Day. While she is celebrated for her on-screen performances, Shaikh disclosed her enjoyment in capturing the world through her camera, showcasing a different facet of her artistic expression.

In a statement released by her team, Shaikh elaborated on how photography enables her to perceive the world in a unique light. 'Photography, for me, is a way to freeze moments and emotions in time. I am much more aware of my surroundings when I have a camera in my hand. I notice things I wouldn't otherwise. Moments, gestures, faces. I absolutely love shooting people! Their eyes and hands give away a lot,' she expressed.

Shaikh further divulged that she might have pursued photography more seriously if not for her acting career. 'Had I not been an actor, I would have definitely taken photography seriously and learned it properly. To learn how to manipulate light and darkness, the play of it, and how it can completely transform a space. Even the characteristics of every lens. Which lens would do justice to which moment? It's an art, and I am very curious about it,' she added.

The actress frequently shares her photographic works on Instagram, offering her followers glimpses of the moments she captures. Her photos, rich with emotion and creativity, underscore her profound connection to the craft, making her a talent to watch both in front of and behind the camera.

On the professional front, Shaikh is set to appear alongside Ali Fazal in Anurag Basu's directorial venture 'Metro In Dino.' The anthology film features an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma in leading roles. Initially scheduled for a March 29 release, the film will now hit theatres on November 29. (ANI)
