A tragic bus accident in Nepal's Chitwan district claimed the lives of 27 Indian pilgrims from Maharashtra's Jalgaon district. The Maharashtra government is arranging an IAF flight to bring back the injured and deceased. Efforts involve coordination with officials from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and the Indian embassy in Kathmandu.

A tragic bus accident in Nepal's Chitwan district has led to the deaths of 27 Indian pilgrims from Maharashtra's Jalgaon district. The bus veered off the highway into the Marsyangdi river, devastating the community and leading the Maharashtra government to request a special flight from the Indian Air Force to transport the injured and deceased back to India.

The victims, from various regions within Jalgaon district, were part of a larger group visiting Nepal for a ten-day pilgrimage. Madhya Pradesh's Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Anil Patil has been cooperating with the relief commissioner of Uttar Pradesh and the Indian embassy in Kathmandu to expedite the return process.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and senior leader Eknath Khadse extended their condolences, assuring that all governmental fronts are putting forth efforts to aid the affected families during these harrowing times.
