2024 Roundtable Conference Unites Voices for Early Childhood Development

The 2024 Roundtable Conference, organized by the Gravittus Foundation in collaboration with UNICEF, highlighted the critical importance of Early Childhood Development (ECD). Esteemed attendees, including actress Shabana Azmi and MP Dr. Medha Kulkarni, focused on the significance of nurturing children's brains during the first 1000 days of life and discussed effective ways to integrate ECD into both national and global agendas.

The 2024 Roundtable Conference, hosted by the Gravittus Foundation in collaboration with UNICEF, brought together key stakeholders to stress the importance of Early Childhood Development (ECD). The event focused on the pivotal first 1,000 days of a child's life for optimal brain development.

Prominent attendees included actress and activist Shabana Azmi, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Medha Kulkarni, and Pune's Education Commissioner Suraj Mandhare. Pediatrician Dr. Amita Phadnis and former Indian Academy of Paediatrics President Dr. Pramod Jog also participated, underlining the conference's influence in driving ECD into mainstream policy discussions.

Shabana Azmi shared her personal views on modern versus traditional parenting, while philanthropist Usha Kakade highlighted the Gravittus Foundation's impactful 'Good Touch Bad Touch' project.
