In an amalgamation of tradition and festivity, Tamil Nadu BJP members in Chennai have unveiled a striking replica of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir to commemorate Ganesh Chaturthi. The structure mirrors the design of the famed Ram Mandir at Ayodhya's Ram Janmabhoomi, which was inaugurated on January 22, 2024.

The meticulously created replica, closely resembling the original Ram Lala temple, is dedicated to honoring Lord Ganesha during the festival. The artistic creation adds a unique charm to the celebrations in Chennai.

Ganesh Chaturthi, a vibrant ten-day festival, has begun across India with great enthusiasm. It will end on Anantha Chaturdashi. In Maharashtra, devotees are busy bringing Ganesh idols into their homes, observing fasts, preparing traditional offerings, and visiting pandals.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt wishes for Ganesh Chaturthi to the nation, posting on X (formerly Twitter), 'Heartiest greetings of Ganesh Chaturthi to all countrymen. Ganpati Bappa Morya!'

In Mumbai, the festive atmosphere was further enlivened by the unveiling of the Lalbaugcha Raja idol. Managed by the Kambli family for over eight decades, this iconic idol is a central feature of the celebrations.

The Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, located at Putlabai Chawl since 1934, remains a revered site. Meanwhile, Nagpur's Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi began its celebrations with traditional morning prayers and aarti.

This 250-year-old temple is renowned for its self-existent deity, reputed to grow over time. Known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi, the festival celebrates Lord Ganesha, the deity of new beginnings, the remover of obstacles, and the embodiment of wisdom and intelligence.
