Amid emotional chants of 'Lal Salaam', the body of CPI(M) veteran leader Sitaram Yechury was donated to AIIMS for medical research. His passing evoked a wave of tributes, signifying his impactful political journey.
Yechury's mortal remains were honored at the CPI(M) headquarters, where top party leaders, as well as Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and other prominent figures, paid their respects.
