Modi highlighted the importance of sustainable development along with human welfare, food, and health security. He pointed out India's achievement of lifting 250 million people out of poverty as a demonstration of successful sustainable development, and expressed India's readiness to share this experience with the Global South.

The Prime Minister also called for necessary reforms in global institutions to ensure global peace and development.
