During the Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday celebrated the rejuvenation of Dal Lake in Srinagar, comparing it to his 1990 visit when he found the region desolate.
Speaking at the 83rd foundation day of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Dhankhar noted the shift since Article 370's removal, citing the two crore tourists visiting Jammu and Kashmir last year.
He also highlighted India's growing global prominence, mentioning the nation's digital progress and enhanced recognition for the scientific community.
