The closing date for an online auction featuring over 600 culturally significant items, including a model of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and sporting memorabilia from the latest Paralympic Games gifted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been extended to October 31.
The e-auction, which commenced on September 17, was originally set to conclude on October 2. The culture ministry issued a statement on Wednesday announcing the extension.
This auction represents India's rich cultural, spiritual, and historical heritage. A section of the auction honors India's valiant warriors and freedom fighters. Highlights include religious artifacts, temple models, and statues of Hindu deities, along with traditional art forms such as paintings, sculptures, and handicrafts.
