In a vibrant celebration of global cultures, India's rich cultural heritage is being prominently showcased at the Global Harmony initiative in Saudi Arabia. The event, hosted by the Gulf nation's Ministry of Media, forms a centerpiece of the ongoing Riyadh Season at Al-Suwaidi Park from October 13 to 21.
The initiative, which is an integral part of Saudi Arabia's 'Quality of Life' programme under Vision 2030, highlights the diverse lifestyles, cultural contributions, and integration of various resident communities. Celebrated Indian artistes such as musician Himesh Reshammiya and rapper Emiway Bantai perform alongside cricketers Umran Malik and S Sreesanth.
The event not only features live performances but also offers a bazaar area filled with Indian cuisine, clothing, and handicrafts, fostering cultural exchange and engagement. This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing its cultural ties and improving life quality in its cities.
