Tourists Flock to Uttarakhand's Snowy New Year Destinations

On Tuesday alone, more than 3,000 tourists arrived at Harshil, Dayara, and Sankri, with over 5,000 reportedly staying in the district’s major tourist hubs. Local businesses, including hotels and eateries, have prepared meticulously to welcome the influx.

Authorities have implemented enhanced security measures in response to the increased tourist activity. Teams equipped with satellite phones and necessary gear are patrolling to ensure safety, while necessary machinery is at the ready to maintain road accessibility.
