Beyoncé has thrilled fans by announcing an additional fifth show in Los Angeles for her highly anticipated 'Cowboy Carter' tour, as per reports from Deadline. Originally planning four performances in the city, the singer will now grace the SoFi Stadium stage once more on Friday, May 9.

The tour, consisting of 22 shows, supports her country-tinted album, Renaissance: Act II, amidst the backdrop of her triumphant Renaissance stadium tour. Although initially set to launch in Los Angeles on April 28, unexpected delays postponed the announcement until February 1, just before the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Having made history at the Grammys with wins for Best Country Album and Album of the Year for Renaissance: Act II, Beyoncé delayed the tour's announcement initially planned for January due to devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. She expressed solidarity with a USD 2.5 million pledge to the BeyGOOD LA Fire Relief Fund on January 13.

In spite of these setbacks, Beyoncé's reimagined 'Cowboy Carter' tour kicks off with a four-night stint in Los Angeles, followed by performances in Chicago, East Rutherford, and then across the pond in London and Paris. Fans can purchase tickets via her official website.

The tour extends after the artist's record-breaking Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year nods. Her Christmas Day Halftime performance streamed during the NFL game in Houston further showcased her dominance ahead of the tour. (ANI)
