The collection spans various eras and countries, with the oldest radio dating back to 1940, still functioning after Pawar spent four years restoring it.
Pawar's passion for radios began in his childhood, with a particular fondness for listening to 'Geet Mala' and cricket commentaries. Since 1990, he has been amassing these historical pieces, acquiring 80 percent from local traders and the rest from Vadodara and online purchases.
The collection includes radios from Japan, Germany, and England, reflecting diverse technological advancements over the decades. Pawar's dedication not only preserves the legacy of radio but also ignites nostalgia and appreciation for this enduring medium on a global scale.
