Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched the Subhadra Shakti Mela on Saturday, aimed at nurturing entrepreneurship among women in the region.

The nine-day event will feature 700 self-help groups, presenting over 200 products at 300 stalls, ranging from millet and organic foods to terracotta crafts.

Majhi emphasized women's empowerment as a movement, revealing plans for financial initiatives like increasing Revolving Fund and providing interest waivers to further support self-help groups.
