Shadowhunters Season 3 is approaching to the return date of part B. With its rapidly approaching towards the mid-season hiatus-completion, Freedom has now gradually started to release what official details it has in its store.

Shadowhunters Season 3 dropped the last trailer during Christmas in honour of the holidays. The short 15-second teaser mainly focusses on how the Shadowhunters and other friends deal with Clary’s demise. It seems that the upcoming episodes will bring closure to the tale of Clary and the gang. However, we still yet to get a transparent view of how the actual plot will link to the unaired or remaining 12 episodes.

Is Clary dead in Shadowhunters Season 3? Katherine McNamara in her interview with Elle in May 2018 commented, “I’m done with Shadowhunters and have been written off the show. [Laughs] No, no, no, not at all.” Again she changed her words and said, “I am not in Edom, but I am somewhere that you wouldn’t expect.” She made it clear that she is not in Edom but somewhere where the viewers can’t even imagine. Alternatively, during another media conversation, Katherine McNamara talked about how the rest of the Nephilim and Downworlders mourn her passing. Does it mean, Season 3 will mark the end of Clary?

Here’s the official synopsis of the final four episodes: Unbeknownst to them, the Shadowhunters face a new level of evil that they can’t even imagine with the arrival of Jonathan Morgenstern (Luke Baines), the true form of Clary’s brother. With the loss of Clary after Lilith’s apartment exploded, Alec, Isabelle and Jace try to come to terms with what has happened. Glad to have their brother back, Alec and Isabelle are still worried about Jace, who is taking the actions of The Owl very hard. Magnus is also mourning the loss of his magic and finds himself in a new position – having to rely on others for help. Meanwhile, Maia tries to help a devastated Simon who has lost his family and his best friend. But unknown to everyone, Clary is alive and finds herself in a new and dangerous predicament. The synopsis is revealed by Digital Spy.

With the airing of all these details, isn’t it too much to ask for another trailer, when Shadowhunters Season 3 episode 11 titled ‘Lost Souls’ is slated to return on February 25?
