The city of Sambhal successfully hosted the 'Rang Bhari Ekadashi' procession on Monday under stringent security measures to ensure peace, as reported by local officials.

Organized by the Shri Shyam Seva Samiti, the event included over a dozen decorative tableaux and saw devotees engaging joyously by throwing gulal. Past tensions necessitated heavy police presence, with the event being closely monitored through CCTV surveillance.

The security was particularly heightened due to incidents last November, which had escalated during a survey of the Shahi Jama Masjid. Despite these concerns, the procession, part of a long-standing tradition, spread enthusiasm and positivity across the town.
