NCC Cadets Lead Renewed Cleanliness Efforts Post-Mahakumbh
Around 90 cadets from NCC's UP 6 Girls Battalion and UP Naval NCC conducted a cleanliness campaign at the Mahakumbh site. Ninety cadets from the NCC's UP 6 Girls Battalion and UP Naval NCC engaged in an extensive cleanliness campaign at the Mahakumbh site in Sector 7. This initiative follows the successful execution of Mahakumbh 2025, aiming to uphold cleanliness at the fair site.
The drive, orchestrated under the leadership of Subedar Major Harvinder Singh, Lieutenant Colonel Farah Diba, and PI Arvind Kumar, emphasized waste collection and disposal, ensuring a clean environment.
The Prayagraj Mela Authority spearheaded the campaign, with officials like Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ashutosh and Health and Sanitation Officer Dr. Vivek Kumar Pandey in attendance, reflecting their commitment to maintaining hygiene in the area.
