Telangana Turns Global Stage: Miss World Pageant Kicks Off
Telangana is hosting the Miss World pageant, with events scheduled from May 10 to 31. Contestants from 95 countries arrived in Hyderabad for festivities and awareness events. The state aims to boost tourism and global image, leveraging the contest to attract international attention.

The Telangana government is leaving no stone unturned as it prepares for the global Miss World pageant, set to begin its grand inaugural event on May 10.
The international competition will take place at the indoor stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, drawing contestants from 95 countries worldwide. With participants already arriving, the city and RGI airport are undergoing a significant transformation to welcome the event.
Apart from participating in the pageant, contestants will explore the state's historic sites and partake in initiatives like breast cancer awareness. This initiative plays a part in Telangana's strategy to boost tourism and attract international investments, underlined by the slogan 'Telangana, Zaroor Ana' (Please come and visit Telangana).
