Lakme Fashion Week, marking its 25th anniversary, is set to make a comeback in Delhi this October. Partnering with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and Reliance Brands Ltd, the fashion spectacle will run from October 8 to 12, as per a press release.
According to Sunanda Khaitan, Vice President of Lakme India, LFW has been pivotal in shaping Indian fashion and beauty narratives for over 25 years, and it continues to drive the industry's future. Khaitan emphasized the gala's role as a beacon of innovation, noting it not only honors its legacy but also evolves with fresh ideas and a deeper purpose each season.
Sunil Sethi, Chairman of FDCI, expressed excitement about the event returning to New Delhi, a critical fashion hub. Sethi highlighted the continuous efforts to create platforms that not only empower designers but also open new markets and foster ties between creativity and commerce.
