The Louvre Museum reopened Wednesday, just days following a daring theft that saw French crown jewels stolen in broad daylight. Thieves had forced open a window to execute the heist at the world-renowned museum.

While the Apollo Room, the scene of the crime, remains closed to visitors, lines of eager tourists formed outside the iconic glass pyramid entrance. The Louvre traditionally closes on Tuesdays and had been shuttered since the incident to aid police investigations.

As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made in connection to the theft. The missing jewels are valued at an estimated €88 million ($102 million), excluding their immense historical significance to France. Approximately 100 investigators have been assigned to track down the suspects and recover the priceless artifacts.
