The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has announced a call for applications to conduct market research studies in the tourism and hospitality sectors, aligning with the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Policy-2022. Aiming to promote sector growth, this initiative encourages investment and aims to create employment opportunities in the state.

Tourism and Culture Minister, Jaiveer Singh, highlighted the importance of this research in identifying current trends and challenges to provide informed policy suggestions. This effort is supported by the state government offering financial aid to academic bodies and expert organizations focusing on tourism-related research.

The initiative is open until November 15, 2025, inviting applications from recognized travel associations, NGOs, and educational institutions. Each approved study may receive up to Rs 10 lakh in financial assistance, marking a significant step towards sustainable development in alignment with global tourism standards.
