Better Call Saul Season 5 may premiere in early 2020, Filming ends in Aug 2019
In our previous article on Better Call Saul Season 5, we reminded you that the fifth season was confirmed in July last year at the Television Critics' Association (TCA) before Season 4 premiered in August. Apart from receiving critical acclaim, the fourth season accumulated a 99 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes with an average score of 8.98 out of 10 based on 30 reviews. Hence, fans are passionately waiting to know the updates on production of another season of Better Call Saul.
You'll be glad to know Better Call Saul Season 5 will commence filming in Albuquerque in New Mexico on April 10, 2019. The shoot is likely to continue until August 2019. After Season 4 completed with Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) taking the step to transform himself into Saul Goodman, the viewers are now adequately waiting to see what happens next. But for sure, it is now to bid adieu to Jimmy as Saul takes over in the much-awaited fifth season.
As far as the release of Better Call Saul Season 5 is concerned, it is unlikely to have its premiere early in this year. The first two seasons premiered in the month of February while the third season aired in April. But the previous season (the fourth season) was made to break the pattern with a premiere date in August. And if the filming continues until August 2019, then it is likely either to premiere at the end of this year or starting of next year. However, this is still not the right time to predict on it as the filming is yet to be accomplished.
On the other hand, the upcoming season will surely see the characters such as Jimmy, Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) and Kimberly Wexler aka Kim (Rhea Seehorn) in the crime drama series.
