Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has pledged to complete the Babasaheb Ambedkar memorial in Mumbai by December 6 next year, an assurance given during a ceremony marking Ambedkar's 69th death anniversary.
Despite ongoing construction, NCP leader Supriya Sule critiqued the delays, questioning why the site, a place of faith, lags behind other infrastructure projects.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, designated as the Special Planning Authority, oversees the project, which includes a bronze statue, auditorium, library, and more.
