The NCC Directorate in Bihar and Jharkhand announced plans for the 'Veer Birsa Munda Cyclothon', starting December 18. This event, launched by the NCC Group Headquarters in Ranchi, aims to honor tribal leader Birsa Munda's legacy and promote national unity through a two-leg cycling journey.
The first phase, spanning December 18 to 20, will see participants travel across Jharkhand, visiting significant sites associated with Birsa Munda. Designed to reflect unity and inclusiveness, this phase will conclude at Ranchi's Morabadi Ground, drawing participation from NCC officers and cadets.
The second leg unfolds between Ranchi and New Delhi, covering a 1,300 km route over 20 days. This inspiring journey will begin on December 28 and feature a team dedicated to spreading messages of cultural pride and unity, culminating at the Prime Minister's Rally in January 2026.
